The project is carried out in collaboration and with the continuous and efficient support of the Department of Antiquities, Amman. Sincere thanks go to its Director-General, H.E. Prof. Dr.Fawwas al-Khreisheh as well as to Mr. Marwan from the administration and to Mr. Abdel Rahim from Jerash, who was our representative and dear colleague supporting the dig by also supervising a square. Twenty-two workmen from the al-Amareen and al-Bdul tribes guaranteed the success of the excavation, although they were not very happy about the difficult site access this year.
