The stratigraphy of Nahal Oren from the Natufian to the PPNA and early PPNB cannot be coordinated with the radiocarbon dates, as there is only one date of which the deviation is not larger than +/- 150 years. This date could be attributed either to the PPNA or to the transitional phase defined by Abbès and Stordeur, though the latter would be more probable: OxA 5010: 9120-9000 BC (20.5%); 8920-8890 BC (2.9%); 8860-8630 BC (44.8%). The stratigraphic position of this date has not been published.
