PPND - the Platform for Neolithic Radiocarbon Dates

32°42'20'' N    35°16'28'' E

The interpretation of the radiocarbon dates of Kfar HaHoresh must await the final publication of the site. According to the excavator, the four radiocarbon dates obtained a range between 8523 +/- 154 and 7668 +/- 54 BC cal (Goring-Morris et al. 2008:18; Goring-Morris 2005). On the basis of the radiocarbon dates and the typology the excavators suggest an occupation of the site starting during the early, and ending in the late, PPNB. [1]

[1] Only one radiocarbon date has been published so far.
