The site was most probably occupied from 7750 BC until the late PPNB around 7300 BC (with reoccupations until the late Neolithic ‘pré-Halaf’).

Fig. 2 Bayesian Sequencing of radiocarbon dates from Tell Halula (PPNB) according to the stratigraphic sequence (Molist and Vicente 2013). The sequence shows a rather continuous occupation between 7740/7630 cal BCE (upper boundary) and 7475/7395 cal BCE (lower boundary, both 1 sigma range), although it should be considered that not all levels could be dated. A possible hiatus might be hidden by the artifically equal spacing of the radiocarbon dates. The separation of the calibrated data ranges in two phases is an artefact of the calibration curve, which has a steep decline between 7600 cal BCE and 7500 cal BCE.
